Musical influences

Early in 2012 I attended my first jazz residential and as well as learning an inordinate amount from my fellow musicians, it reignited the passion I have for all the vocalists that have amazed, affected and touched me during my life; Tony Bennett, Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Chet Baker, Peggy Lee, Ray Charles, Pearl Bailey, Louis Jordan, Aretha Franklin, Nat King Cole, Dusty Springfield, Annie Ross... Of course there are always too many to name.

My music today

I currently sing in duos and quartets and I am also a regular at open mic and jam nights in London. I have recently performed at Ray’s Jazz Café, The Vortex and Oliver’s Jazz Bar.

I'm always happy to collaborate with other musicians and vary my experiences. I feel very excited about where the rest of my journey will take me.
